How to play

  1. Pick a game and a bot. Each game costs a few coins; beat the bot and you win more back. You start with 25 coins, and a daily reward tops you up.
  2. Aim. Drag anywhere on the table to turn the cue around the white ball. The guide line shows where the white goes and where the first ball you hit will travel.
  3. Shoot. Pull the power bar on the left down — further means harder — and let go.
  4. Add spin with the white ball button in the corner: hit low to draw the white back, high to follow through.
  5. Ball in hand. After a foul by the bot, drag the white ball wherever you want before you aim.

How snooker works, in one minute

A frame starts with 15 reds (1 point each) and six colours on their spots: yellow 2, green 3, brown 4, blue 5, pink 6 and black 7. You alternate: pot a red, then nominate and pot a colour, then a red again. Potted colours return to their spots while reds remain.

When the last red is gone the colours are taken in order — yellow, green, brown, blue, pink, black — and stay down. The highest total wins; the most a player can make in one visit, with every red followed by the black, is 147.

A foul gives your opponent the value of the ball involved, at least 4 points. After a bot's foul you choose: play on from where the white stopped, or make the bot play again.

The other games on this table

8 ball

Fifteen balls: solids 1–7, stripes 9–15 and the black 8. The table is open until someone pots a ball after the break — that player takes that group.

Clear your group, then pot the 8 to win. Pot the 8 early, or the white along with it, and you lose the frame.

Fouls: hitting the other group first, hitting nothing, or potting the white. Your opponent gets ball in hand.

9 ball

Nine balls, played in order: the white must hit the lowest numbered ball on the table first. Any ball may drop after that.

Whoever pots the 9 legally wins — even on the break, or on a combination off the lowest ball.

Fouls: missing the lowest ball, hitting nothing or potting the white give ball in hand.

The three bots

  • S
    Sam Rookie

Learning the table. Hits hard and thinks later — the right first opponent.

  • V
    Vic Hustler

Plays the angles and the odds. Misses less, and punishes a loose white ball.

  • N
    Nadia Shark

Position first, pot second. She plans where the white stops and leaves you nothing.

Tips to win more

  • Think one ball ahead. Before you shoot, pick the ball you want next and use spin to leave the white near it.
  • Softer is safer. Most pots need far less power than you think, and a slow white ball goes where you planned.
  • Break up clusters early, while you still have other balls to play — not when the cluster is all that's left.
  • Watch the red sign. If the guide shows a no-entry mark, your first contact would be a foul.
  • No easy pot? Play safe. Roll the white behind your own ball and make the bot guess.

Questions

Is this real snooker?

Yes: 15 reds, six colours on their spots, red-colour-red order, colours re-spotted while reds remain, then the colours in order, with fouls worth at least 4 points.

How do I choose a colour?

After potting a red, tap the colour you want, or its button in the bar under the table, before you shoot.

Does my progress save?

Your coins and level are saved in this browser. If you clear your browser data, or play on another device, you start again.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. Tap Play and the table opens full screen; it works upright or sideways. The free app plays even better on a phone.

Can I play against a friend?

The browser version is you against three bots. The app adds more game modes, missions and rankings.

What if I run out of coins?

You can keep playing on a practice table: no stake and no prize, but your shots still earn experience. The daily reward refills your wallet.
